I went into our local library to pick up a book, and wow the new art display is some AMAZING stained glass, nature subjects, portraits, really, and done with mostly reused materials. The artist is named Marti Allen. I love her work!!!

It arrived! I am so happy with this warm story about treasuring family and creating community! (Actually, “they” arrived because I got one to keep and one to give away.) Kelly Wu’s lively illustrations perfectly complement @celestepewter.bsky.social ’s wonderful story from her own family. I love it!

Middleton, WI turned out for No Kings! A lot of folks headed for the really big rally in Madison honked, waved, and held up their protest signs to the car windows or out of sunroofs.

I hadn’t made Hamburger HotDish in years, but tonight was the night.

Am coloring. Sparkle!

A round mandala type coloring page in process. Most of the colors are fairly subdued, but the outermost ring is yellow with sparkly gold glitter gel pen dots and edging.

2/2 What it has already done: Sent a small but nonetheless important donation to immigrant support in Minnesota . So, yeah, I don’t see any negatives here. Knit on.

A red knit hat in progress on a circular needle, so far consisting of about 4 1/2 inches of 1 x 1 ribbing. Very repetitive and soothing to knit.

I found some red yarn in the stash, so I figured I would make a “Melt The Ice” hat.
