Quick online search and it looks like I have house finches at the feeder this morning.
I’ve also participated in a couple of late-night runs along the “Extraterrestrial Highway,” in Rachel, NV.
I think watching birds at a feeder is just as relaxing as watching fish swim in a tank. It’s also less work to refill the feeder than do tank maintenance, so I’m a lot more likely to keep it up.
I think this interaction should have cleared it up that it was pretty tongue in cheek.
It's extremely on-brand for Oregon Trail that as soon as I got this ornament home I dropped it on the floor and had to glue it back together.
And scorpions actually do glow under black light. You should check it out. I took a scorpion pinning class at a local curiosity shop. They had some black lights around, so I tried it out.
