Some days are worse than others to be sober. This is my sweet G baby. I found out she had cancer that turned into liver failure and that she wouldn’t be coming home from the vet, all in the last hour. Enjoy this pic of her sweet face in all her healthful youthfulness. Grateful to be alive today because I got to hang out with some friends I love and meet some new people to feed so many families tomorrow. Two hours of work, some shopping and some monetary donations helped us put together a couple hundred meals for our community. I’m happy to be here today.

This is the most gripping, deep, heartwarming and heartbreaking book I’ve read in a very long time. If you’re into kind of Harry Potter-verse type magical worlds but if it was written by an unproblematic Black woman, this book is for you. 10/10 and if you don’t cry, that’s weird.
