Eowyn from Lord of the Rings was my queer awakening. The moment she took off her helmet, said "I am no man" and plunged her sword into the Witch King made me fall in love immediately. So I cannot overstate how much it means that I got to meet Miranda Otto today. I'm just an emotional, happy mess.

First time seeing my true name in print! It's thrilling and so gender affirming.
