Excerpt from my Wolcred FFXIV fanfic WIP, set in ARR:

Thancred @ Seryn after F’lahmmin returns: Are you jealous? (teasing)
Seryn looks at him like she’s actually giving the question some serious thought. Then a slow smile spreads across her face. Hand propped on her hip, she leans forward, tail lashing behind her.
A stronger man than Thancred could not have resisted glancing below her neck.
“Is there a reason for me to be?” she murmurs.
Heat prickles across his skin. He can’t help his answering smile.
Now this is a familiar game. One he’s all too eager to throw himself into.
He dips his head, peering at her through his lashes.
"Ah, but of course. The most beautiful of flowers need not concern herself with any other."
She leans back, crossing her arms under her—generous chest. Thancred breaks eye contact—barely a flicker, towards the movement. His weakness is rewarded with a victorious curl to her lips.
"Very pretty," she says. Electricity frissons down Thancred's spine. "But words that come that easily don't impress me."
This is dangerous. The kind of danger that sets his veins alight and his wits racing, the kind of fire that has him leaning towards the heat.
A safe kind of dangerous.
"Words come easily when inspiration tastes so sweet, my dear."
She cocks an eyebrow at the endearment, but doesn't pause.
"And you've had a taste?"
"I would welcome the taste."

The tip of her tail starts flicking again. Predator and prey, playing a different kind of game.
"Perhaps some hard work will let you earn it."
"I know how to work hard too."
He stretches. Lets her study the line of his body, and imagine the muscle he's regained underneath his clothes.
Her fangs peek through her smile. She taps the back of his hand, resting on the table. Her claw pricks, but doesn’t break skin.
Light as a nibble. Fuel to the fire.
"On your poetry, bardling," she says. "Perhaps Menphina will look kindly upon you then. For your... inspiration."
He bites back a lurid repartee about writing poetry between her legs. She doesn't seem the type to appreciate it so early. He lets her have the last word for now, and treats himself to the sway of her hips and tail as she walks away.
The next time he looks up, it's to F'lhammin at the bar, eyebrows raised as far as they can go.
How it shrinks him back to his schoolboy days, he doesn't know. He ducks his head, heat rushing through his cheeks.
Perhaps Seryn has a point. It can be an exercise in staying alert to his surroundings, at the very least. Just because the Warrior of Light is in the room—and a beautiful one at that—doesn't mean he can let his guard down so easily.
He can flirt and watch her back.
In more ways than one.

Seryn is a blue-haired catgirl. The illustration shows her past self from pre-ARR tugging her cloak hood low over her head, looking sad. Back to back with her is her present, Endwalker self, pulling off her hood and looking forward with joy. Behind both of them is the moon, split in half between the red Dalamud that destroyed her family and the white moon of Endwalker, where she finally found and accepted her new one. At the top of the illustration is Hydaelyn's crystal, splitting but also bridging past and present.
