I can’t believe they have the gall to send this garbage *this week* of all times.
Breakfast at Latsipalatsi before we go to Porvoo for the day
I found this in my camera roll and figured it would be of use now for Ottawa folks who want to evaluate Sutcliffe’s 2022 promises and decide if he’s really been “a mayor for all of Ottawa.”
My sister took a picture of her cat and asked Gemini to create a portrait of it. The fact that Google has destroyed any goodwill they have in order to shove this incredibly useless technology down everyone’s throats is great.
This has been my year for finding lesser-known series and getting obsessed. Please stand by while I make Astreiant my entire personality.
Minty thinks I got him immortalized in my manicure, and I hate to break it to him that those are bunnies.
I refuse to learn what “mogging” is. This is the only mogging I accept and the children are wrong to say otherwise.
This dude will make major personality changes every few years. We’ve had him for over 10 years and he literally would not hop up onto the couch until last month. Now he’s happy to sprawl across my lap as though he’s always been this cuddly.
Me when the Mayor will definitely try to look cool and not at all queerphobic by capitalizing on the love for Heated Rivalry:
Just finished setting up the advent calendar for this year. Big thanks to the wonderful folks at Finngoods (finngoods.ca) and NoelByAlmaHome (on Etsy) for my super cute and delicious setup.
Absolutely! If Finland can do something, Canada certainly can too.
The butterflies at Carleton were great! Mika even got one to nom on his pineapple. Look at that gorgeous giant! And these two Great Mormons are engaging in very un-Mormonlike behaviour. 😉
Saw this headline on CTV News and I’m almost impressed with Mark Carney’s speedrunning of the impending destruction of the federal Liberal Party. Sad that folks elected someone they thought was a brilliant economist and politician, only to find out immediately that he is neither.
Any #ottawa folks know of a missing tuxedo cat around the Golden Triangle area? Found this skittish sweetie without a collar by the Canal (near Waverley) and I wasn’t sure what to do other than look for an owner online.
Folks are (correctly) pointing out the shovel and flag as being fucked up, but I cannot stop looking at whatever is going on with the throat. Are those labia? A double goiter? No one can say.
Walking around a medieval Finnish town like a serious person with this dude (Käpy) strapped to my back.
One thing about Finland is that I’m able to buy incredibly delicious protein anywhere I go. Last night, I had protein ice cream. This morning, I had protein coffee “frappé.” The trade off is that it comes under bizarre names like this.
I had reason to show Mika the “Happy Happy Joy Joy” clip from Ren & Stimpy and I think he was less amused with the song and dance than he was concerned about my childhood.
It was 7:30 this morning and already 27C. I made the mistake of checking out what Helsinki was like at the same time (2:30pm local time) and hoooo boy I am kinda jealous but those Midsummer celebrations are going to suck.
No cat has ever suffered as much as he is suffering from this humidity (in his head)
Trying to think of what to get my 16-year/old nephew for his birthday and Mika suggested cash. I had to show him the card I bought today and how I literally cannot give cash now.
Spent the morning exploring the Nature Museum with the niblings and I’m in a lovely mood. I even got to see a new (to me) butterfly. You’d better believe I’m back on my butterfly nonsense.
I know it’s not as impressive as the Tesla stock dip, but the $TRUMP coin lost 10% of its value and I don’t want us to forget those losers in all of this.
I was able to fix a handful of snags in my awesome pink pants with very little effort and it’s really amped me up. I gained a useful skill and now I wish to teach others as though I am Prometheus gifting fire to humanity.
