As I get older, I think more about the qualities I hope people see in me. Patience is at the top of that list along with kindness. It's not easy to have it these days, but I want to practice it every single day. It's not about accepting injustice, it's about thoughtful response to it.
I used to collect these tiny figurines every time I went to Disney World. I've placed them in random cabinets around the house. It guarantees I'll have at least one smile every day. 😊

Once upon a time, this gardenia bush was so tiny. My sons were little boys and they helped me plant it and keep it watered. Now, look at how beautiful it is. Bonus is that it brings back sweet memories every year when it's blooming.🩵

My kids loved it too, especially my youngest son. The Dinosaur store used to have some of the coolest shirts. Most of those were gone but we were still able to pick up a few mementos.
