Our first view of Rainbow Lorikeets was at St. Kilda in Melbourne. We were in awe of their colors and personality. #Australia 🪶

We spotted large Eastern Gray Kangaroos right away when a bird guide took us to Dandenong Ranges National Park outside Melbourne. We were pretty excited to have such a close encounter. #wildlife #Australia

So this happened today! We saw a Cassowary on the last day of our tour with FNQ Nature Tours!! 🪶

Here’s some signs that we don’t see back home. Currently on a 5 day bird tour in Queensland. So far we’ve seen a 4-5 month old Cassowary. 🪶 #Australia

We saw the Twelve Apostles and London Bridge along the Great Ocean Road. So in 1990 the left arch of the bridge collapsed, people on the right side had to be rescued. 😱 #Australia

We visited the Western Treatment Plant with a guide and saw an Orange-bellied Parrot, one of the most endangered birds. Fingers crossed that my photos are in focus. 🪶

Every time I look at this picture I took of a Royal Tern with a shrimp, all I can think of is "how the heck did it make a shadow like that?" I mean, where is the Mickey Mouse head on a stick?🪶
