Then today this 1940s needle case depicting a stereotype of a Black woman popped up. It’s not as alarming as the golly charm, but why is stuff like this getting recommended to me? I’ve searched for quirky jewellery and arts & crafts but why am I suddenly getting recommended racist items?
This Robinson’s golly charm popped up in my feed as a suggested item on Vinted. I added a warning label just in case it triggers anyone. I reported it immediately and Vinted removed it straight away.
In the UK there’s a similar drink called Dragon Soop. It’s got 7.5-13% ABV, and 35mg of caffeine per can. They only sell it in certain places and I haven’t drank it in years. They even designed the cans to look like Four Loko
Yesterday I posted 2 reels on Instagram for #autisticprideday. I spoke about my late diagnosis. This comment is from one of my old teachers. She knew I was “different” and did everything she could to support me when other teachers didn’t care. 30 years later she’s telling me I made her life better 🥹
So now Glinner’s spreading misinformation about Hannah Spencer’s blouse and citing Grok as his source. How predictable. (She bought it from a charity shop, BTW)
He and Diddy go way back. Marlon’s in the background of that ramous photo of Biggie & Tupac. He denies participating in any “Diddy Parties”, but the fact that he supports him makes me think otherwise. He also has a weird Oedipus complex and said he never married because his mom would be jealous
Petition for Loungefly to create a replica Sac Magique from Tots TV
Because it’s IDAHOBIT, I did a cover of ‘Homophobia’ by Chumbawamba (just the first verse and chorus)
I’ll jot down ideas for poems in my notes app or record them as voice notes then forget about them. I just found this on my phone. I wrote it on 27/02/24 (the day after my birthday)
I was the featured poet at Sunday Assembly London today. The theme was “intergenerational connections” and the songs were chose to fit the theme. Loving the “family friendly“ lyric change to Teenage Dirt Bag 😂
More than that. He married a 15 year old, and he said one of his ”regular customers” (that’s what he referred to his teen “groupies” as 🤮) was 13 but of course he insisted she looked older 🙄.
The first example image I sent was an old piece inspired by a Black drag queen, as they’re a queer-owned business who promote diversity. The other pieces I sent consisted of doodles, shapes, and bold colours as they said they were looking for abstract art. I said I could adapt any idea
Following on from my thread about the call-out for artists I responded to who told me they were looking for “abstract art” and asked if I had anything in mind, then rejected me because they “have a very specific vision“, here’s part of my exchange with them. They’re a queer-owned business.
Here are screenshots for more context as my original comments have been buried in the thread. I made a similar comment to yours, then followed it with this list of suggestions (though I forgot to include Lena Horne and others, and my speech-to-text misspelt Ossie Davis)
When asked if he supported Trump, he paused & stuttered & said he doesn’t agree with his racist policies but he’ll “stand with him on getting the bathroom bill right”. He’s a transphobe.
1/ When people discuss neurodivergent-coded characters, they often overlook Nick from My Family. I always thought he was AuDHD-coded & I related to him a lot. He jumped from special interest to special interest. He was constantly getting fired due to perceived incompetence & laziness
Over the years I’ve been told I look like every famous white woman from Paris Hilton to Daisy May Cooper. The most recent one I got was Alysa Liu which is bizarre as I’m twice her age & a different ethnicity. The most accurate one was probably Princess Diana
Is your friend Brad Pitt? Because I think Brad Pitt looks a lot like Robert Redford (or at least he did when he was even younger)
Here are photos of Adam Lambert MNEK both taken on stage last night. I think Adam looks quite slim, and MNEK looks muscular with turned arms. Sarah thinks they look overweight and disgusting. The third photo is her TERF friend Graham Linehan. No further comment.
Thanks @ciara2001.bsky.social for posting some of these tweets. I’d never heard of Sarah Stuart before, but she’s a TERF who live Tweeted from Trans Mission & fat-shamed half the acts. She says she’s repulsed by overweight people, yet she’s apparently friends with Graham Linehan.
She thinks it’s some kind of gotcha to point out Kae Tempest’s facial hair and she claims he can only grow a “chin beard” because he’s not a “real man”, but he’s got a moustache and goatee too, they’re just hard to see because of his fair ginger hair. Also plenty of cis men can only grow him beards
I have no idea who Sarah Stuart is but a quick Google search suggests she’s one of Glinner‘s besties. Kind of rich that she’s obsessed with fat shaming people whilst hanging out with this guy
It wasn‘t Maya who said it, it was some woman named Sarah Stuart who she quote Tweeted. Sarah also fat shamed pretty much every artist there and made gross comments about Beth Ditto, claiming “fat people shouldn’t have tattoos”. Some feminist she is.
It wasn‘t even half empty by the end of the night after hundreds of people had left to get the last train home. I stayed to see Beverley Knight who came to sound check, rushed to Soho to perform in Marie & Rosetta, then rushed back to Wembley to close the show.
"Friends" is a beloved American sitcom that aired from 1994 to 2004, following six young adults—Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe—living in New York City. The show explores their friendships, romances, careers, and personal growth over ten seasons.
During my autism assessment, they asked me about my special interests. I told them my main special interest is The Golden Girls, and when I was a kid it was dinosaurs and Ninja Turtles. I wasn’t consciously thinking about my outfit when I got dressed, but check out my T-shirt & cardigan buttons
