My first bike tour was Washington to Colorado Springs in 1989 with my friend, Russ. Here I am eating chips in some small town in the middle of nowhere. Such a great adventure!

This is so real these days. My fave local taco truck used to sell the fish taco plate for $12 in 2019 and now it's $20. It's enough of a price jump I can't justify it anymore. I miss it, but this is a tough economy now.

I can't help but think Land Use signs are just vestiges of NIMBYism - especially if a project is BY RIGHT in the land use code, not asking for a re-zone or variance. Why must we allow rando neighbors to comment on a *by right* project, at the cost of thousands of dollars and months of time?
Well now I’m embarrassed! I should’ve checked Amtrak. I was so focused on a Sounder extension. Indeed there are many trips each day. Bummer the station is so far from DT though.
