Never mind, back to 57. I had a a feeling I should’ve split the ball in half and reversed one half to keep the stripes going the way they had been. So now I’ve ripped it out and will prep the yarn for tomorrow

39 inches at the end of regulation, which I’m very surprised at considering each row is 116 stitches and there were many times that half I just held it and stared at the screen

Piece one is finished, on to the next, slightly longer piece. Rapidly outgrowing the grid space in my notebook and going to have to switch to the computer for longer pieces.

57 rows and I’m officially out of yarn. Unfortunately, they don’t sell this yarn at the Michael’s within walking distance, so more will have to wait until I go home for a bit on Sunday and can stop at the big on one the way back. So instead I’ve pulled out the Tunisian crochet one. 🧶 (yarn ball)

54 and a half rows at half time (because I basically just worked the same two rows twice again after missing a single strand at the beginning of the first one again), and there is definitely a Michaels trip in my afternoon plans

Managed to get up to 52 rows in the second half. Still need to add about 10 inches and a border and I may have to make a trip to Michael’s for a third ball of this yarn

Spent the first half of today’s game riding back from home to where I’m dog sitting (I meant to be back before the game started) but I did get a quick project done at home: I fancied up my mom’s sling. Unfortunately it was due to her allergies to the original straps rather than just for fashion.

Spent half time walking the dog and making lunch, but at the end of regulation I have 44 and a half rows and decided to measure. Still 16 inches to go. The helper is not as helpful as he thinks he is.

Only added 2 rows in that tense first half, mostly due to a needy pup and fighting the yarn barf from yesterday. I am working from the ball of yarn and the first attempt at this blanket made from a similar ball of yarn, because I wasn’t able to add width with a border as I had planned initially.

Half time check-in: almost up to 19 rows, because I spent a significant amount of time fighting yarn barf, then found where I missed a strand at the beginning of the 18th row when I was at the end of the 19th and had to do both rows again

Very happy with how the black helps differentiate the green from the teal. I had swatched them together in the beginning to see if they were different enough to stripe and they were not

Stripe two and I think I’ve actually decided color spectrum order because I’ve got yellow, green (that’s rather close to this teal, but with the black borders I think it will work), blue, purple, and pink and then potentially end with another white stripe depending on how long it turns out.
