first thing i got is this fusion album from '84 by Mark Gray & Super Friends. very synth-forward, has a fun and very 1984-sounding cover of Chameleon, it's on the smoother side of fusion but remains very cool. produced by Teruo Nakamura of the Rising Sun Band and out out by Toshiba-EMI
