after lots of tweaking, got the soundcard and midi controller emulator to work, so Daggerfall is running in all its 300x200 glory!
there are almost no wifi card drivers for DOS, but plenty of ethernet ones, so I just had to get an ethernet-›wifi dongle to trick the computer into thinking it's plugged in o a modem
spent the past getting DOS up and running on an old netbook and baby we are in business - wifi and all. now can browse the web and chat with the boys in IRC, all from the command line
