Just popped up on my photos, Mom as a teenager practicing her sharpshooting skills, taken around 1933 in the orchard her father managed. She wanted to be as good as Annie Oakley.

You took the cold weather with you, John. It’s been scary warm here, and on today’s walk I took photos of a lilac bush starting to leaf out and pussy willow catkins! I dread fire season but maybe the rains will be with us.
