God remember when we used to post thirst traps on main? Those were the fuckin days
A very quick brainstorm of things in my personal life which will a) almost immediately go to shit, and b) for which a local, non-plastic based alternative isn't feasible
Note that they are building *towers* directly adjacent a bridge that's easily walkable to the (also walkable) downtown core. There are multiple buses and protected bike lanes. People who live in this neck of the woods don't drive into the city
Anyways y'all should come to Japanese film club next time and let them sell questionable physical media to you
I'm waiting for a GPU support arm to arrive before I close her back up but the new card doesn't really need it. It's so much more efficient heat-wise that it's backplate is a fraction of the thickness.
Ok I agree the stills are not good but in motion and with the overcoat and the cig
It's about as well cooled as I can provide without water blocking it. It's also on a 1000W titanium power supply, which should be more than enough headroom to handle any transient spikes associated with startup. Each of its 3 2+4pin connectors are separate (i.e. not split or daisychained)
There was a cheese plate at the end of the cold transit at least

Rilke does do that. I have an entire book on my shelf because two pages of it are an essay of his I read in the 11th grade about being alone in the woods. I held onto my original photocopy for ~a decade, and I think I still have it, but now I also have the book. Let me scan it later today for you 💕
It's for the vibes. Europe loves a vintage transport vehicle moment in and around Christmas. In London the ticket sales go to charity. In Berlin sometimes all the people riding go full 1920s reenactment with their outfits!
Alert alert: this Kafka meetup is in the prettiest most shimmery space themed office I've ever seen
I'm giving a talk at a meetup on Thursday and the building is called The Bower, and ngl I'm a little disappointed in how unromantic the building is
They mostly won't try to sell you anything but there's a good chance you can get a sticker of a polar bear snowboarding
Something I should've checked on before I moved is whether UK to EU power strips exist 😭
