#SmallBirds Read through some of Geni's antics to look for more stuff about Henrietta to share, but instead found a very old draft of a passage with Geni and Igei excitedly yapping about committing a literal warcrime. With Igei casually admitting that she has radioactive waste in her apartment

"Got some basic training in that but can download all I need from my Herd, we specialized in that sort of biohacking."
"I thought you were the Herd that specializes in transforming bacteria into self replicating data storages?", Igei wondered.
"We are!", Geni said. "And they are made trackable so we could find them later because as you may know, bacteria aren't
exactly easy to spot with your bare eyes..."
"ee... I may have ... not considered the obvious it seem", Igei laughed, with Geni joining in.
"How long would that take?", Finja interrupted them.
"I have some caesium-135 in my apartment, actually", Igei said. "Could get it here in, maybe half hour?"
"Got my lab kit in my room", Geni chimed in. "I'll just go with Igei so we could do that in her apartment and I'll read into the
fine details as we go. Shouldn't take long. Maybe a few hours? Creating a first contact pathogen isn't really hard honestly."
Finja didn't look exactly excited.
"Okies", they said. "I will for now ignore the obvious question why someone would store radioactive waste in their apartment
and I do approve of you both creating that stuff out there because I am kinda worried for the children in here would you

Fighting (with) her has the benefit of having one of the worst possible triggers for any kind of bug related phobias too!! Her combat skills are all about two things: flooding the battlefield with insects, and preying on the weakest people she can find. Truly, a very loveable kid <3

"Apologism. The worst kind of politics", Geni said in a very annoyed tone.
"Oh sure, but it is the foundation our anti human literature doctrine was built on", Sarah explained. "At least a little bit. I think. Not
sure, never read it if I can be honest for a moment. I did skim over a few sections though."
"Only person I know who read it was Henrietta", Geni said. "And I am very sure the politics wasn't the part she enjoyed."
"She certainly is the kind of person to enjoy the other half, yeah....", Sarah replied, drifting into thoughts at the end before snapping
back all of a sudden. "But she did lecture us a lot about it!"
Sarah straightened and got into a sort of lecturing, know-it-all pose, already opening her mouth to start speaking.
"Please no mimicry", Geni intervened with anticipated annoyance. "One Henrietta is more than enough!"
"I knew it!", Sarah complained in exaggerated motions. "You ARE a big meanie!"

the irony, that one of the most unpredictable villains of the story gets a skill that only hurts bad people. we talking here abt a kid that gets really angry whenever needs to do smth physical that isn't just refilling her snack bowl as vaguely implied in this lil tidbit of a story:

"Look, Geni, I am only doing my job here!"
"You mean you pretend to!"
"Aye", Sarah laughed. "But If i dont at least pretend to care, then Kiki has to pretend she cares that I don't care, and you know she hates to leave her chair for any reason that isn't grabbing some snacks."
"She could just tell Henrietta to fuck off, I guess", Geni sighed.

it's kind of crazy to not allow kids to swear. why do they have to perform their own childness. is it like, a sex thing for parents, some kinda power play, or what?

it's the same as how violating gender roles (and especially being transgender) makes other people around you uncomfortable even though it has nothing to do with them. it makes the artifice of the social category visible, when people prefer to believe that it's natural. that has implications for the viewer's actions and position within the social category, not just the person they're viewing. they could violate those gender roles in the same way, and so the fact that they're not doing so becomes a choice, rather than a natural inevitability, and their separation from the "opposite" gender becomes lessened, and what does that mean for their own gender?

if children aren't a fundamentally different type of creature from adults, with appropriately different moral standards for what behavior towards them are acceptable, then maybe some of the ways that they have treated (and intend to continue to treat) children were like, bad?

these types of social categories require active maintenance to keep people believing in the reality and naturalness of the category, and making people do arbitrary and visible stuff like that is a component of that maintenance

okay but what i'm saying is: this bed in this online shop has stairs AND a roof and my own bed doesn't have either. this is a deep injustice that is discrimination against me personally and my heart is not ready to easily forgive that cruelty yet

a white bunk bed. instead of a ladder it has a stair shaped shelf that is used to get upstairs. also, the upper bed has a house shaped top, including a wall with a fake window and a fake planter that is used as a small box to store stuffs.

• Beast Dream Command: Attack (Spell (Dream): Orders a random Dream Beast in proximity to attack a target chosen by Eni)
• Beast Dream Command: Guidance (Spell (Dream): Orders a random Dream Beast in proximity to guide herself or a chosen target towards a place or exit Eni chooses)
