#TubulinTuesday Reposting an old favourite - breast cancer cell grown in a low dose of taxes for a long time. It's swirling peripheral actin is winding microtubules like yarn on a spindle, pulling its DNA along into the maelstrom.

A huge cell with a ring of yellow microtubules and purple actin around the edge. In amongst the ri g are small circles of blue DNA. The center has a large irregular blob of blue DNA and a clear area where there are a few wiggle microtubules going from the center to the outer ring.

Good morning from flamboyant poppy

Tall red poppy with serrated edges, black shading on lower part of petals, fuzzy white anthers and large yellow stigma in the center. The leaves are pale almost bluish green with jagged edges. Two more coy buds still have their heads bent.

Where are the calls for white British BBC presenters to condemn acts of violence committed by their ethnic or racial group? What a thing to say.

Geissler then concluded the exchange by saying “that is your opinion”.

“I asked for your opinion, you've made it absolutely crystal clear. In the interest of balance, I should say there are other political parties out there who would argue that a lot of these people were out there last night just articulating what they would think are legitimate views that are opposed to yours,” he added.

“But listen, let's move on.”

Does anyone else have or know about flint glass eye baths? I have this little guy, at one time 25 cents from Schiller's Pharmacy in Pittsburgh. Can be repeatedly sterilized because it is flint glass. Fill it with water if you have something in your eye - just hold it over your eye socket and blink.
