Mike Bornman retired after 36 years at the LA Sheriff’s Department, and now he is running for Sheriff. He says he has a tattoo, but that does not make him a gangster. He points to his record of investigating other department members as evidence that he does not tolerate misconduct.
Sgt. Karla Carranza is running for Sheriff to fulfill a lifelong dream. She promises to continue the department’s current approach to deputy gangs and give the public a “stern” approach to crime.
Eric Strong is running for Sheriff of LA on a progressive platform. He says it is time for the department to take a stand against ICE, eradicate deputy gangs and close Men’s Central Jail.
Andre White is the youngest candidate in the race for LA County Sheriff. In this interview, he recounts retaliation he faced after reporting a supervisor. He says that current leadership is out of touch, and it is time for the department’s younger generation to lead.
Palmdale Lt. Oscar Martinez is running to be Sheriff of Los Angeles County. He supports the constitutional sheriffs movement and believes there needs to be AI implemented throughout the department. He doesn’t believe deputy gangs are real, and wants to see more cooperation with ICE.
Former Hollywood bailiff Sonia Montejano is running to be Sheriff of LA County. She wants to eliminate deputy gangs, approve more concealed carry permits and bring in the National Guard to fill vacancies. Check out my interview with her on my YouTube channel. youtu.be/ezmRDfzhAgM?...
