Lil Peep didn't come home last night, I figured he finally fell in with the group of blue jays in the yard I keep seeing him with. I opened the front door this morning & he flew inside & zoomed through every room in my house doing "I'm starving to DEATH!" wing flappies. #birds
What is it with crows & Gorillaz songs? The last one I raised/rehabbed was obsessed with them too. #birds

Well, it happened again. Some lady brought me this one with wing & back of the head injuries. Lil Peep the blue jay is mostly grown & well integrated into the woods right around my house but still flies inside sometimes. Maybe he will be useful in helping to model bird skills to Sheryl Crow. #birds
A bird child has once again been bestowed upon me. Apparently if you do this sort of thing once, everyone around town knows you as the lady who can raise bird orphans, & then people just start bringing them to you.

The gentleman holding the "detain pedophiles, not children" sign is 98 years old. He reached out to organizers on FB to ask someone to give him a ride to the event. It's really something. This community is very red.
Got dolled up & went out to #NoKings DeFuniak Springs, a small, rural & *extremely* conservative community in the FL panhandle. I always appreciate the few willing to show up here. It's a difficult place to show up publicly.
