Computer Police Cybercop (1988) Probably in the top 10 most entertaining Tokusatsu series I've ever seen. The story can be a little weak at times but it does a few surprisingly innovative things for the time and has effects that look fun at best and entertainingly horrible at worst.
Chrono Trigger (1995) I think I still struggle a bit with RPGs but this was such a fucking delight. Glad I was finally able to beat this after so long. Shout out my buddy Robo.
The Dark Kitchen arc is one of those things that you hear about and are like no way its like That and then you watch it and are like oh On a second watch I furthet appreciate the food elements of the show (and Inoue lmao) so I love these episodes even more now
Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity (2026) I didn't think it was particularly special but it had a good few things I enjoyed about it.
The Daisuke Worm plot is better in my eyes now. It used to bug me a little how Gon came back with her memories n stuff but considering why they had to wrap up that plot originally I think its fine to reopen that box
Episode 27 feels so claustrophobic with how much shit they gotta put in after Daisuke's been gone for so long
Back to the Future Part III (1990) It's impressive how they keep doing the same shit in each movie and yet it fucks just as hard every time
Back to the Future Part II (1989) Pissed that Michael J Fox has a better femme voice than I do rn
Weird: The Al Yankovic Story (2022) its so fucked up how all of this happened
The Sheep Detectives (2026) one of those "really simple and basic but I cried so its probably good" affairs
normally I would argue the more Gimmicky bikes don't inherently add a lot to these shows but in the case of Kabuto it leads to one of the most incredible little action moments so I think they Objectively Needed To Be This Gimmicky
its so funny how Kagami's bike gets to turn into a fucking goblin glider while Tendou's just gets Longer
THIS IS PROBABLY NOT INTENTIONAL BUT MY PATTERN RECOGNITION WENT SO HARD INTO OVERDRIVE I JUMPED OUT OF MY SEAT
I remember reading people upset Tsurugi didn't stay a Serious Rival for Tendou or w/e and goddamn I'm so glad he wasn't one because we'd miss out on so much iconic shit
I FORGOT HE PUNCHES KAGAMI BUT HE'S TRANSFORMED SO IT DOES LITERALLY NOTHING 😭
Episode 25 juggles a lot at the same time, I really like how they didn't get many answers from storming Area X, making the Riders change strategies. Also nice how Hiyori is still in the dark about the belt boy but now being on the same page as the two riders keeps that plot from feeling stagnant
Gonna let more of the plot play out to settle on how I now feel about this aspect of the latter half, but I've definitely warmed up to it more. Especially since "outside force affecting your destiny" is pretty in tune with the core of Kamen Rider, fitting for a season celebrating 35 years.
Episode 24: One of the most clear cut examples of the show having goofy comedic plots intertwine well with the main plot, having Tsurugi show up to help Tendou and Kagami fend off TheBee following his whole B plot with Tendou
Realized I only had 50 second records on the 4th and 5th levels so I went back and knocked those out if you haven't played Super Hexagon yet it's literally less than a dollar u gotta try it
