A friend gave me a mug for Christmas, with a similar sounding design. ( I have no idea where she got it though) I love it.

Well we went into downtown Halifax on an early Friday evening, to Taz Records, had supper at Doraku, checked out the dahlias at the Public Gardens, bought a local book (Acadian Shorelines by Pat D'Entremont) at Bookmark and are now headed home. (And we even found on street parking) #countrymice

We survived a Saturday trip to IKEA and Bayers Lake Costco ( we couldnt find parking at the one in Dartmouth). Where do we country mice apply for our big store survival badge? Or was the IKEA rainbow cake at lunch enough of a prize?

I am told the winner of each game gets a slice of roasted meat, my cousin's daughter (my second cousin once removed if anyone is filling our the genealogy chart) brings mustard and buns to make sandwiches with her winnings! They go through 20-30lbs in a night.
