As soon as I started reading the extract from novel my otherwise normal reading-in-my-head voice immediately switched to Richard Reed's voice. Like, it wasn't even a conscious decision. Those words just unlocked something in my brain and it had to be his dulcet tones reading them to me.

Whilst visiting the South Jordan, UT Warhammer store last month the lovely staff member gave me an Infernus Marine "as a souvenir". I have painted it in what I feel is an appropriate scheme to really solidify it as a token of my visit.

Thr thing about doing a Hyperphase Blade is that you always have to do it twice. Each side feels like a new start!

This very British graph shows the inverse temperature of custard. If the food is hot (e.g. Apple pie) the custard must be cold. If cold (e.g. Ice cream) the custard must be hot. Custard donuts are room temperature and therefore in equilibrium. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

I picked up Sergeant Jovan at the Warhammer World Anniversary yesterday, and immediately seconded him to the Deathwatch. As far as kitbashes go it was extremely minimal (literally just the one shoulder pad) but he just looks so Deathwatch-y already I didn't need to do anything else.

Mind your head, neck, and possibly shoulders too. Staying in a 17th century cottage in the Lake District, which might as well be a hobbit hole considering how low some of these doorways are.

I second this. Great book, as is the sequel. I can also recommend This Way Up by always informative and entertaining Map Men if you've even the slightest interest in geography.
