I'm suffering now because I spent too long in the dreaded sun, but it was important to turn out for the anti-racism march in Leith this afternoon, and a lot of other people thought so too.

Early rush hour, Lothian Road, Edinburgh. A large car is stopped on the yellow box junction, visibly making pedestrian access difficult. If you look closely you can see the driver staring at a phone in her lap, which she'd been doing before the lights went red. BUT CYCLISTS ARE THE PROBLEM, RIGHT?

I see the LGBA are taking the line of, we don't need to protect people because there are already rules. Just like, 'but what rights don't gay / trans people have already?', they've got no original ideas.

I'm used to feeling discriminated against when trying to find products in a supermarket that won't make me ill, but this is a new low from Morrisons. Hunted around, looks like ALL the freefrom frozen products are just absent.

My bike is in the shop so I'm relying on the Voi hire bikes. But as so often happens, there's nothing avaliable nearby. In fact, one of the closest available vehicles is AT my destination. I'd love to see some stats about how these are being used and the infrastructure behind it.

I know there's a lot of chat about the Voi hire bikes blocking bike racks, but they also end up blocking pavements.

Trying to find an available bike at 0830 on a weekday shouldn't be this hard in a busy central part of town.

My bike is in the shop so I've been using the Voi hire bikes. My biggest gripe is that I struggle to find a bike or space - even when there are vehicles nearby they're often offline for maintenance, and the allocated parking spots are often full so I have to divert massively at either end.

Love seeing five vehicles all parked on double yellow lines, and it's even better when two of them are actually on the pavement as well.

I see the TERF brigade have decided to jump aboard the Nordic Model train. First they ignore the existence of trans men in their attack on trans rights, now they ignore the existence of male sex workers - as well as the fact that most people in that industry oppose this proposition.

I feel like they weren't getting much engagement 🤭🤭🤭

It's not just the users that are a problem with the Voi bikes in Edinburgh. I just watched someone unloading some from a van, lining them up nicely, and leaving no room to get into the bike racks next to them. There is plenty of space on that pavement, no need for this!
