I'm an educator, wife, & mom of 2 adult sons who wants to enjoy social media again, but stay informed. I like books, travel, & want to be Buffy when I grow up.
This was our delivered kitten. He fit in the palm of my hand and my son named him Stormageddon, Dark Ruler of All.
Low clouds are blocking the sunrise, but still a nice view to start our first full day of vacation. 😁
I lived through it too. Final vote 52-48. It looks like 9 Dems voted to confirm, but 47 of the no votes were Dems. (Assuming my quick count was right) 47 Dems did the right thing as opposed to 1 R. Keep blaming Democrats tho👍🏻
My son actually sent a picture of the beach he visited on his first day in Australia. 😁
This is the view out my front window right now. It was total white out about 10 minutes ago.
Great new puzzle from my son! After you finish it, you rearrange the sections and then get out the bonus pieces to fill the middle.
This is the street I grew up on. I need a protest buddy in the Cleveland area.
My husband and I were in both cities in September. I enjoyed both, but definitely preferred Oporto. This was my first evening sunset.
My first ever attempt at a charcuterie board. I'm clearly unable to cut cheese uniformly. 🤷🏻♀️
Idk, but this is her bio, and she posts about being on a podcast with John Fugelsang.
I just watched a video that showed this image was taken from a comedy post about a dad "arresting" his toddler. Please be careful about believing unsourced images, particularly if they provoke a strong emotional response.
This chonky fella guards a ruined convent in Lisbon. He was obviously working very hard today. 😁
I was NOT going to drink at lunch today, but they seated us in the cutest alcove with a street view and lovely breeze. Wine it is!
Today we're walking from here and it's also "mostly flat". Lisbon only does flat near the river.
Google maps claims the walk to the castle at the top of the mountain takes 14 minutes and is " mostly flat". Fuck you maps
Two days of this weather at our beach location. (65 degree highs and constant, Gusty winds) We leave today and it will be 72 degrees and sunny. 🤷🏻♀️ At least the food was great and the wine plentiful.
