You deserve to know why you're struggling. Your "email blast" with the subject "You Deserve to Know Why" had this slop in it:

Some polls right now are showing us leading, others show us tied with our Republican opponent, but every poll has one thing in common: this election is going to be close. And that means there is a very real chance that the two Republicans on the ballot will lock Democrats out of the general election.

Right now, my billionaire opponent is spending an extraordinary amount of money to attack us and pull us down in the polls. If his baseless attacks begin to stick, Democrats will surely hand victory to Republicans during this primary.

So we urgently need to reach more voters and set the record straight before early voting begins. Because after they vote, it’s too late.

So let me tell you what is different between the emails that Tom Steyer, your opponent, is sending and the ones that you are sending. Every email from Tom gives at least one, and often several things he is going to do if he is elected. They may be lies, they may be aspirational, but they are actions he plans to take. I reviewed all of the emails sent by this team and every single one had a plea for donation and NONE of them had a statement about what Xavier would actually try to DO if he were elected. None, zero, zilch. Why is he even running for Governor if he has zero agency?

You don't need money, you need a plan. That's right because if people believe in your plan and they believe you can execute against that plan, they will send you money to make that plan real without you even asking! So stop with the stupid whining emails about how you need money and start talking to the voters about what you're going to do. You lead in the polls (sometimes) because people hate billionaires. But they hate ineffective democratic leadership even more. So you're absolutely going to lose this primary if you don't get off your ass and give people a reason to vote for you.

A message saying we ran out of posts from your followers, I follow over 2,000 accounts, they didn't stop talking, bluesky just stopped showing them to me, perhaps because I follow people who are against fascism and this stupid regime? Or maybe its because the people I follow are pro democracy and anti-autocracy? Or maybe, just maybe, bluesky if fucked and their trying their best to silence the resistance to this corrupt, immoral and illegal regime.

I cut off the side of a heavy cardboard box that something was shipped in and I thought let's print out something and glue it to cardboard! This stuff (spray on adhesive) comes in really handy for that task. Turn your artwork into something you can carry around and show to everybody! 😉

This is the preamble of the Confederations Constitution. They explicitly tie the government to religion (Protestant Christianity), and expressly set up that every state gets to make their own rules.

This paragraph, from this substack emptycity.substack.com/p/from-const... summarized my feelings on the current crisis precisely!

And the ultimate cause of this is not so much the failure of their codified constitution, but a deeper and wider failure of constitutionalism - including but not limited to the licence given by the United States supreme court to the president to do unlawful acts, and the failure of the Senate to discharge its constitutional obligation to convict Trump on impeachment after the attempted insurrection of 2021.

From such things, other things have now followed.
