And if necessary, we'll be prepared to submit ballot language next spring to put rent control on the November 2028 presidential election ballot because we can no longer do it this year, since we were blocked by the MA Supreme Court Judges.

We have until July 31 to URGE our legislators to act and pass our negotiated version of the rent control bill. We need to keep the pressure on. 📢

We are SO disappointed after all the tremendous work countless volunteers did across the state. But know this: our fight is FAR from over.

Over 157,000 Massachusetts residents signed to put rent control on the statewide ballot — and that power won't disappear just because the SJC ruled the measure "unconstitutional."

The courts said no to the ballot. The people said: " We're not done". This decision from the Supreme Court judges in Massachusetts came in response to a LAWSUIT FILED by PRIVATE EQUITY backed REAL ESTATE. Let that sink in. 😤😤😤
