Breaking out my last bag of Vietnamese bath herbs. Hoping it helps kick this flu out of me! (10/10 recommend turning off your big bathroom lights & using a little battery light for max relaxation. Faux ARMY Bomb light was a b-day gift from my bestie Muna a few years ago💜)

Hi threads.

My dad passed this afternoon. It was very fast & sudden, but wasn't unexpected. I said goodbye to him on Thursday before I left for Las Vegas and he recognized me & told me to have fun & I'm happy to have that as my last memory of him.

I'm still in Las Vegas for the concerts & I'll drive home on Friday as planned. It's gonna be wierd. I need to stop answering my phone & get ready.

Someone said I need to live for joy, and so much of my joy comes from BTS, as well as comfort.

It fukin WIMDY! Went to the Hoover Dam this evening and maybe shouldn't have gone on the windiest fucking day of the year so far! 60mph gusts in the middle of the dam! I was fully leaning into it and holding onto my hat & sunglasses while getting sand blasted. It was pretty fun though.

Whimsymaxxing courtesy of Costco. I saw this windchime in Costco last week in Michigan, checked online, and it wasn't in my SoCal store. But! I went to my local store today AND THEY HAD IT! Hung it in the 🥑tree so I can hear it from bed. Bonus if it keeps the squirrel from eating my avocados!

Finally getting to eat my chili loaded sweet potato and it's even better than I imagined. This batch of chili was very smoky sweet with lots of chipotles in adobo, and smoky unsweetened dark cocoa powder. So it pairs SOOOOO WELL with the roasted Japanese sweet potato!
