Was at Will Rogers Park in LA and stumbled upon this—the blackened tree stump in the back, the charred fire hose indicating just how hot and strong the fires last year must’ve been, and new growth in front, plus the water leaking in slow drips—felt too on the nose

Finally (better late than never) saw Hadestown last week. It was Day 6 into the freeze and songs about how there’s no spring or fall anymore just gutted me. And (paraphrasing) how songs are sad but we sing them anyway 💔 We grieve but we live and love anyway—keep going ❤️🩹
