The attack on Andrie Yunus comes after many new and proposed policies that increase militarization and undermine civic space in #Indonesia. The case should be open to the public to ensure an independent, impartial, transparent, and thorough investigation into the attack.
On March 12, Indonesian #HumanRights activist Andrie Yunus was attacked with acid. Andrie reportedly suffered severe burns on his face, hands, chest, and eyes. A week later, amid civil society pressure & protests Indonesian military authorities arrested 4 officers allegedly involved in the attack.
For many workers, #climate adaptation can begin with something as simple as being able to open a window or drink cold water on the job. Yet widespread #labor rights abuses embedded across the #fashion industry often prevent workers from taking steps to protect themselves from #ExtremeHeat (1/3)
