for some reason i haven’t been able to watch a film proper for about a month but last night i treated my eyes to the tres moody and gothic I Vampiri (1957). it’s not the greatest film you’ll ever see but it’s got some beautiful shots

Christmas disaster/miracle: the Henry Christmas spent two days in limbo as my parents searched high & low for a somewhat key nativity figure: the baby Jesus. turns out they’d just put the crib upside down… 🙃 which technically made it a satanic nativity i suppose. this is all genetic too, by the way

for some baffling reason that requires a time machine and some stern questions to sort out, i got rid of all my Stooges except Raw Power (only good thing Bowie ever did. you heard 😄) some years back. i’m pleased to announce i am redressing this unforgivable mistake

verrrry overdue THIS IS GREAT nod to @xeaglepissx.bsky.social for this. if you’ve been in a band of any kind this absolutely captures the joys, abject miseries & grunt work of performing rock and/or roll in an uncaring world - and getting up for yr day job the next morning. after two hours sleep.
