I made bread and lasagna. Sauce is my mother in laws recipe. It takes 4 to 6 hours to sweeten. Bread was just a basic 3 hr yeast.
We have a new visitor. These creatures are notoriusly bad at building nests. She's got like 6 twigs in the basket.

Italian Christmas Eve. Mother in law taught me the sauces. I made the breadcrumbs from a cousin in laws suggestions. The meatballs are Zia Penna's. My husband bought me the arancini mold a couple years after we met. There's a chocolate ricotta tart in the oven.
We have a small diabetic dog. Impossible without 2 of us. This hangs on a piece of pipe between 2 dining room chairs. She can kick all she wants.

I also had my mom show me her chocolate pie recipe years before she passed. It's divine. Meringue topped homemade chocolate on a buttery crust.

Mine. There were 6 packages inside with 2 brownies in each pack. They were best eaten at one sitting because taking one to the living room was just dumb. You know you're gonna eat the whole box before bed
