This is just the top portion of the first page of articles in today’s @nytimes.com online edition. If this doesn’t scream COUNTRY IN CRISIS, I don’t know what will. America is in a death spiral right now. This is fact, not hyperbole.
I haven’t clicked on a Google Doodle since a year ago when they became one of the first companies to kick DEI to the curb. So I’m not at all surprised that their tribute (?) to Dr. King is so anodyne. Focusing on the parades in his honor instead of the accomplishments that earned him the honors. 👎🏾
‘Zohran Mamdani Is Sworn In as Mayor of New York City’ I surprised myself by weeping at the mention of Schomburg’s name. That Mamdani would understand the significance of including him in the ceremony speaks volumes. Given the chance, he will be a great mayor. 🙏🏾 www.nytimes.com/2025/12/31/n...
The cowardly Democrats cave while the GOP finds new ways to prosper from taxpayer money. #griftersall www.nytimes.com/2025/11/10/u...
In other words, if an average working class New Yorker dares to vote for Mamdani, federal funding that exists largely due to the taxes they pay, and at a level corporations and the wealthy do not, will be withheld as punishment? Challenge accepted!!! gift article: www.nytimes.com/2025/11/04/n...
Every day now brings news we wish was just a made up story from @theonion.com …But, nah. This crazy sh*t is real.
‘Five Major Changes Trump Is Making to the White House’ With this president the P stands for petty. gift article: www.nytimes.com/interactive/...
Trying to bully an Italian American from Canarsie, no less, is further proof of how out of touch Cuomo has become. #LMFAO #RunCurtisRun gift article: www.nytimes.com/2025/10/21/n...
Another milestone in our maniacal march backwards from progress…America will probably soon lose its measles elimination status. gift link: www.nytimes.com/2025/10/21/w...
Back to this subject. What is up with these tree leaves this year? #centralpark #forestry #environment
“I don’t understand why you go to Uganda for two weeks, frankly, in the middle of a campaign,” Mr. Cuomo said, adding: “I didn’t take a two-week vacation in 16 years. I’ve never heard of that.” screenshot via @cityandstateny website #mamdani www.nytimes.com/2025/07/29/n...
‘Mamdani Travels to Uganda in Break From Mayoral Campaign’ and Eric Adams forgets his “spiritual journey” to Ghana. 🤣 🤣 🤣 www.nytimes.com/2025/07/20/n...
. @nytimes.com Your attempt to get me to pay more for my subscription is really pissing me off. A pop-up EVERY single time I load an article? It makes for a very unpleasant user experience. #itsharassment #stopit
It’s refreshing to hear a real estate executive NOT reflexively attack Mamdani. If only there were more in real estate like him. www.nytimes.com/2025/07/02/r...
100% yet the press keeps reporting on his capricious actions as though they’re well thought-out strategies. Here’s an image of his true self with the rest of the world in the background.
And given the many committees he’s on that are related to her role, how could her staff not recognize who he was?
It’s all a lie. They’re not renaming it in honor of Pvt. Fitz Lee who served during the Spanish-American War. They’re renaming it in honor of Robert E. Lee’s nephew, Fitz Lee, confederate general. #racistbastards bio: EncyclopediaVirginia.Org www.nytimes.com/2025/06/11/u...
Time to stop pretending that America is still a functioning democracy when we’re now ruled by an Authoritarian Government intent on suppressing free speech and any signs of dissent. #losangeles www.nytimes.com/2025/06/07/u...
Seems like Alex Garland was onto something with his movie Civil War. Hopefully that’s not the case with 28 Days Later. 😬
