We found a good vet but our kitten was always going to be an indoor cat and outlive us and go back to our younger neighbors should it go down like that. It gives us peace and we treasure every day with this guy Orson. He has the most amazing smile. 😸

I'm glad you have a snuggly baby. We used to tell the rescues to "pay your bill" with snuggles. Our current cat Orson is demanding when he wants them but aloof when we want them. "What a Cat" gets said several times a day.

I'm a insulin dependent type 2 so I understand the struggles. Even when we were poor our cats never had a clue. I sure understand the depth of love and devotion kittys bring people. Give him a hug for us and Orson.

It's probably not good in the long run to weigh 22lbs but our cat is very healthy at 9 years old, the vet said. I know we may not be so lucky when he's older but it's hard to lose weight. I'm not worried about his heart but diabetes as we want him to be our last Cat and live 10 more.
