Calling this out is a good first step - billionaire oligarchs who run media are bending the knee to Trump for their own bottom line. There's a solution in the stated problem: Don't allow them to own media & communications platforms to this extent.

The AI era shouldn't have to mean endless shrinking of journalism jobs. Irrespective of news outlets' size or audiences, public policy is needed to prevent Big Tech-backed AI from engulfing the open web and profiting from human reporting at zero-cost acquisition (!!)
