Yarn is Everything is the latest eduction to the Jasper Rabbit’s Creepy Tales! series. Young readers are going to be captivated by Winona Mole’s story, and the end is going to rock their world. So much fun! 📚 👍 #kidlit
Kitty starts the book living in an animal shelter. She gets adopted by a boy who is grieving the death of his cat Licorice. Things feel an off as Kitty tries to adjust. Turns out things weren’t just a little off! 🤯- The last 30 page knocked my socks off. This book is a treat 2 readers! 📚 👍 #kidlit

Loved spending time on this sixth-generation farm in Iowa. 12 year old Xyla is not a fan of trying to keep things afloat with her family farm obsessed mother. We also get to visit the last through Xyla’s mother’s childhood diary. BONUS: an amazing librarian with the coolest library-dog. 📚 👍
ABSENT is a remarkable new book from Rex Ogle. Told from the point of view of three kids that are having some attendance issues. Each kid’s story is not only unique in why they are missing school, but they are also told in different formats: verse, comic, and prose.
Got a chance to read the first handful of chapters of Kate DiCamillo’s next middle grade novel. The last time I fell this hard-this fast for one of Kate’s characters was 20 years ago when I met Opal in Because of Winn-Dixie. I cannot wait to spend more time with Edith Leapyear.
