Finding out was too much for me with a migraine, so I just went to my friend’s diner for a relatively fancy plate and a tall root beer to soothe my brain.
This is my father with the litter of puppies he found abandoned in the woods three years ago. The one he’s holding up was adopted by my son and is a happy, thriving weirdo named Sally.
