*PUPDATE* Baloo is back, yes he’s back (🎵) after a very successful home stay in Normandy away from the worst of the canicule. So nice to see him so happy.
*PUPDATE* Little B is off this afternoon to a home stay in Normandy (with aircon). He’s been there before and had a great time. It has huge grounds, rivers and other dogs — what more could a puppy want. We’ll miss him though.
This is an interesting graph I just dug up from the interweb. It shows the value of 1k invested in 2000 in the ftse. As you can see (absent dividends) it’s returned very little overall but returns increased substantially on a relative basis post the dotcom crisis and until the GFC.
