Watching WITHNAIL & I for the first time and I think this is just called alcohol poisoning?

There is a drinking game associated with the film. The game consists of keeping up, drink for drink, with each alcoholic substance consumed by Withnail over the course of the film. All told, Withnail is shown drinking roughly 9½ glasses of red wine, one-half imperial pint (280 ml) of cider, one shot of lighter fluid (vinegar or overproof rum are common substitutes), 2½ measures of gin, six glasses of sherry, thirteen drams of Scotch whisky and ½ pint of ale.

(SBTB Summer Bingo: turned into a movie or TV show. Could work for character who works in audio.)

Was going to go for two stars, but random Yoko Ono slander on the last few pages, so fuck that. I did not like or feel sympathetic for a single character in this book except Isabelle, Solene's daughter. Solene is a self-absorbed asshole who knows from the beginning that hooking up with Hayes will traumatize her daughter, but doesn't tell her to her face and lets her find out accidentally, and STILL continues fucking this guy and gallivanting all over the world to visit him, and it's not too much until Solene starts getting harassed, no matter what her daughter has been going through. I hate to be like "you are a mom," but YOU ARE A MOM. She has more sympathy for whatever that random girl in the hallway has been through than what she's put her daughter through, and it's extremely off-putting.
