This is from yesterday of the town closest to me. It has gotten worse.
The sun came out so we went to go check out the creek. It's normally dry most of the year.
Power is back. They had to use a helicopter to get in here to repair it bc of this shit. That's like 10+ feet of water over the road.
Always fun to see the dried up creek flowing again. The old lady got to dip her toes in.
It's been flooding where I live so we went for a walk between storms since it cooled off.
Had to watch an old lady named Olga to figure out how these work but they did help along with my trusty spring loaded scissors. ✂️✨ You need much grandma knowledge for this whole fursuit thing. 😂

I got the results on the masses removed from Savannah's spleen. Unfortunately not good news. She's got spindle cell sarcoma. The vet said it's possible she'll last a lot longer than expected but to bring her in when symptoms come back up. And we can go from there.
Since I'm allergic to alcohol markers, I decided I'd get myself a different set of paint markers. My shit month requires a little treat. My dad and dog are recovering well at least!
She's more alert and like herself today. And she ate some chicken! Constantly running around trying to stop her from jumping on furniture so I guess she's ready to go. 14 days of no jumping is gonna be a pain.
She's home and she's honk shoo mimimi'ing in her favorite chair with her favorite blanket.
She's back from the ultrasound! She has a mass on her spleen and it needs to be removed before it explodes. The mass has not spread beyond the spleen so it seems like she's a good candidate for removal. It's not the best news but it's good news that it's fixable. 😭 They shaved my goblin.
Sewing claws today! Minky is like trying to sew two sheets of goop together. What a wild fabric. (They will not be going on my fingers, I just got little fingers that they fit on and I think that's funny.)
