People always forget about The Trial (1962) whenever liminal films are brought up.

Round 2 I've seen most of these with the exception of "Happiness" and "Eyes Wide Shut". I was reluctant to pick up the latter because I was fighting myself internally on whether or not to get the Kubrick set during the Nov sale. If I DO indulge in Nov I guess I'll just be stuck with two copies.
Thankfully my local B&N isn't closing (just moving to a more convenient location). That being said, they were having a moving sale so I caved and bought some A24s and other stuff that I wanted. Recent events have me anxious about the future of cinema so buying movies is my catharsis to that.
Totally forgot how great this film is. It's always interesting to see George Romero delve into something that isn't zombies or zombie-adjacent. He could've done more non-horror films and I'd be down. He really was a filmmaker in every sense of the word. That's why he was the GOAT.
