Saw this in Armagh last week and it reminded me of when the Robot Trees were installed and people were saying at least it's more seating.
This article fails to mention that location of the proposed cycle lane is the where the Sacred Heart applied for, and were refused, planning permission in 2019 for an extension (53 spaces) of a car park. www.irishexaminer.com/news/munster...
Is there a microclimate Con between the mountain ranges? Saw a fascinating documentary in France about a town in the Pyreenes that is in the opposite, a cold pocket. Has temps around 10 degrees lower than nearby villages at the same altitude

Big set up going on in Farran Woods for a rowing regatta. Seems like a great sport for teenagers to be involved with. Lots of sitting in groups and ferrying kit down before the races.

Great news re the city library, was in Chester last year and the Storyhouse cinema/library was a haven for families on a rainy day.
