Chimera is a really cool horror experience. That said, I feel as if, once I looked at it through the lens of the actual Pokemon world instead of a real perspective, it suddenly became rather ridiculous. Please consult the graph. #HypnosLullabyFNF #ChimeraFNF
What the hell is going on in my copy of Kirby Super Star Ultra, I don't remember this #Deltarune #Kirby
No shade to the person who made it but every time I think about Kriselle Knight this image pops into my head
JESUS CHRIST HAS FALLEN! I, STARSCREAM, AM YOUR NEW SAVIOR! DISCIPLECONS, FOLLOW ME!
Ooogh now that Deltarune Chapter 5's out the people who think they know better than the guy who made the game are coming out of the woodwork to say "erm, this thematic decision is BAD because I DON'T LIKE IT so it sucks" while looking exactly like these guys
Destructoid gotta be the funniest game news site, "Should you stop the cowboy from killing himself" has had me fucked up for minutes
I have constructed a timeline of games for those who are still new to the Star Fox series, as I feel it necessary to prime us for a potential Adventures or Assault remake. Or god forbid a Command remake. Please consult the graph. #StarFox
"Dield" "Sjelter" I only recently learned about "Draks." Got some choice email participants this time around.
I FIXED THE IMAGE DON'T WORRY EVERYONE Anyways real end of the thread I hope Ralsei interacts with this plotline in Chapter 5 End of thread!🪡
Ralsei has three paths before him. The path to heaven, the path to hell, and the path back towards the limbo he built for himself. The house of hay he constructed that's about to collapse, killing him. There's only one path that leads to salvation. And one that leads to a darker, yet darker fate.
... but... ... There is ANOTHER way to avert the prophecy. If you missed Jevil... there IS another way. But... if there WAS something else, what would it be...? And how do we know It wouldn't be something even worse?
This line specifically stands out to me, solely because of those quotes. It's as if he's referencing something. Mind you, Queen is also the only boss aside from the Knight to be referenced by name in the Prophecy. She's the only one aside from the Knight that Jevil CAN reference by name.
Now, why is this important to Ralsei? Because, simply put... ... it's the only Shadow Crystal that Ralsei was present for the ENTIRE process of retrieving. Jevil might be the only person Ralsei actually knew about beforehand. Jevil is what Ralsei will become if he truly gives up.
... but it's not, right? I'm of the belief that the Shadow Crystals are the only way to avert the prophecy. Even Seam seems to be hopeful about your prospects once the Roaring Knight has been dueled to a standstill. The most hopeless characters, finally having a glimmering light in the dark.
A legend told so long ago, he had time to memorize every detail. A legend told so long ago, he had time to make a version of the prophecy which omits nearly every important detail. A legend told so long ago, it's seemingly too late to do anything about it. This is the legend of DELTA RUNE.
This leaves Ralsei, another who knows the Prophecy. However, instead of either of these options, Ralsei clings onto hope. Hope that the prophecy can still be changed, that the ink with which the future is written has yet to dry. Even though, deep down... he knows it has.
This caused Seam to spiral as well, into futility. Into the belief that everything was set in stone, that all things were predetermined. He believes that nothing matters, much like Jevil, but instead of using that as an excuse to harm, he simply whiles away the last moments of his life alone.
Firstly, let's talk about Jevil. Specifically, his situation. Jevil is in prison because he became violent at the thought of a world where nothing matters. Where everything was just a game with a set ending. It's implied that these thoughts were planted to a strange man telling him the prophecy.
Okay, time for my biggest stretch theory ever. I think Jevil is a parallel to Ralsei. ... okay, please just hear me out. 🧵
UPDATE TO THIS POST Hat Kid has received her long overdue buffs as of July 8th, 2025, though through totally different reasoning. I still take this as a win.
The finale isn't perfect, mind you. But I think, at the very least, the handling of Jax's character was done very, very well. And I feel like I'm in a mental asylum hearing so many people take away the exact opposite points. Fantastic finale overall, and an excellent job done by Goose and GLITCH. 🧵
It really goes to show you either how truly media illiterate the Amazing Digital Circus' fandom is that this misinterpretation is so widespread, or how many people are just performative activists willing to enact friendly fire for internet brownie points. It's expose a lot of y'all, just saying.
And it all stems from a repression of Jax's gender identity, an identity whose acceptance is proposed as the BEST outcome. But everyone sees the surface level of "Jax trans + Jax bad = trans bad" when GOOSEWORX. IS. A TRANS WOMAN. Out of everyone, SHE wouldn't put a message like that into her show.
It wasn't just Ribbit either. Completely ignoring Kaufmo after Ribbit's abstraction indirectly caused HIS abstraction. Sure they aren't dying outright, but they're essentially braindead. It's because he, because JAX constantly butted heads with them after one moment of vulnerability, of honesty.
Goose even mentions that Jax is a huge piece of shit, and implied that ALONE was in the way of her being happy in the circus. She could've transitioned, and nobody would've demeaned her for it. But because of that one conversation, he pushed everyone away, to the point of killing some of them.
