3: The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III (2019) - Completed 2/17/26 Love this series, but I have mixed feelings about this one! High highs with the ending and characters like Juna/Altina, but really drags its heels in the middle. More last-minute run-ins than a WCW show in the late 90s.

2: Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand (2006) - completed 1/30/26 A baffling remake of Ys V by Taito and Arcsys that somehow came out AFTER Ys 6 and Oath in Felghana, but feels worse in every way. Slow combat, average music, and enormous dungeons made up of the same 2-3 rooms await you.

1. Angeline Era, PC (2025) Technically finished on 12/31/25 but I'm going to shill this Analgesic Productions doing their best work. A game that's fun, hilarious, melancholy. Specific and brutal in all the ways Marina and Melos can be. Bump combat reigns supreme.
