I don't know about anyone else, but I always feel annoyance and exasperation at a piece this big with this many small details. When I finish it I have to hide it away for a few days before I really appreciate what I've done. 12x17 watercolor, colored pencil. Maybe I'll call it "Feelin' Stumped" 😂
I have a album full of reference photos, I have no idea why I hoard them like a goblin without ever labeling them. That's how I get through a entire painting and and think- where the hell is this anyway? I'm pretty sure its a small waterfall and spring near Marymere Falls, WA Watercolor & chalk.

Its been a very stressful holiday season for myself and my family. I am very tired. ANYWAY, here's a more recent piece I did as a mock-up cover for my next project. Thanks again to @snakesandkittens.bsky.social for letting me use one of her awesome beach-combing pictures as reference!
One of the best lattes I've ever had was at Better Living Through Coffee in Port Townsend. If you visit, you can see my original painting in person! #watercolor #art
