I don't know about anyone else, but I always feel annoyance and exasperation at a piece this big with this many small details. When I finish it I have to hide it away for a few days before I really appreciate what I've done. 12x17 watercolor, colored pencil. Maybe I'll call it "Feelin' Stumped" 😂

I have a album full of reference photos, I have no idea why I hoard them like a goblin without ever labeling them. That's how I get through a entire painting and and think- where the hell is this anyway? I'm pretty sure its a small waterfall and spring near Marymere Falls, WA Watercolor & chalk.

I think Duke really hit how I've felt for the past week. Squatchcon was a blast, can't wait to go next year. Thanks to everyone who came to the panels, or stopped by my booth to say hello- I really appreciate it!

I thought the blurry spots were because my sinuses are creating a brain fog that makes me want to repeatedly hit my head on my desk. But no, another day, another scanner that has suddenly decided to develop issues. Great. Good thing it looks intentional because of all the fog! #art #comics
