I have a sense of humour. If you lack this vital human survival-mechanism, then please show yourself to the exit. :D Husband, father, grandfather, dog & cat rescuer, musician/artist/madman, stubbornly maintaining optimism for the future of humankind.
I'll die at 33 years old, but hell, I'm Jesus, and for now I'm riding on a dinosaur and smoking Camels. It's all real too. 😉
"The source of the neutrons would be the resurrection" 🤣 You see? This is what I'm talking about. You "want" the Shroud to be 2000 yo, so you grasp at straws and invoke "divine intervention" to make your "theory" work. That's not how Science works. 😝
Ooh! A Photo. BURN. I guess you showed me. Oh hey, I've got one too. Here's me back when I walked on the Moon. 🤣
😀 Yes! Beautifully said. Here's an example of my work. I'm a retired Rock musician and don't get the opportunity to "show off" much anymore. I miss that. 🤣 My "in-your-face" watermark is testament to my hubris. 😆
As I age, I wonder if I'm "handsome". Was I ever "handsome". I was looking for a photo of me as a teen... couldn't find one. I found this one of me and my wife and daughter (10 yrs ago). I know I'm not Brad Pitt handsome; not Robert Redford handsome... too young yet to be Sam Elliot handsome. 🤣
Well... how about a photo of my dog Stevie? 😀 I am the world to her, and she hasn't the slightest idea how much the world sucks outside of her little corner of it. ❤️
I'm old-school, but I'd suggest good 'ol Adobe Photoshop 5.0, and a Bamboo pen/tablet. Older software that runs lightning-fast on your newer PC, and you can add all kinds of new brushes. This is a wee doodle from 2013:
I just want to post this... ... New Year is a special moment for Deb and I... the night of our first kiss. The night I held her, and knew that I would never let her go. 43 years ago if my math is correct. This was her graduation photo, I think 1983... is it any wonder why I was smitten?
Not much meat on these bones. But my wife tells me I have a big head. Oh... don't eat the hat and sunglasses -- they're just garnish. 😆
That would be so awesome! 😀 I wish I had that kind of tech (and the skills to use it). But old-school A&C has its charms. This is a creation of mine from some years ago, a Steam-Punk "murderous Pirate robot" 😆 (it pre-dates Murderbot by a few years).
We get really big wolf spiders up here in Canada, and I mean REALLY big. Fortunately, they're quite tame, as you can see. 😆
You couldn't drag me kicking and screaming into the US right now. I'd rather eat my own head.
An example of some of my old computer art. Old-school stuff. I used brush tolls from Photoshop 5.0
I'm a bit of a photographer. One of my waterfall captures from a few years back.
My daughter got this for me for Christmas -- a 5" model of the Star Trek OS USS Enterprise that lights up with LEDs. ❤️ It's SO COOL! This is a snap-shot with my old flip-phone and not the best quality (I ripped a page from an expired calendar for backdrop) but you get the idea.
This is Buzz. He's on a leash so he wouldn't wander off and get lost... soon after he'd sit and watch movies with me, and share a bowl of popcorn, imitating me with his hands... no kidding. I'm a dog rescuer, and a cat rescuer... this was on the next level.
Yeah, a few years back I raised up a couple of baby raccoons. Their momma got hit on the road, and I just couldn't let the little ones die. I took them in like my own. An amazing experience I'll never regret. I could write a book about this.
My wife Deb and I. We met when we were kids, began dating in 1983, married in 1988, and happily together still. :)
