As I age, I wonder if I'm "handsome". Was I ever "handsome". I was looking for a photo of me as a teen... couldn't find one. I found this one of me and my wife and daughter (10 yrs ago). I know I'm not Brad Pitt handsome; not Robert Redford handsome... too young yet to be Sam Elliot handsome. 🤣

I'm old-school, but I'd suggest good 'ol Adobe Photoshop 5.0, and a Bamboo pen/tablet. Older software that runs lightning-fast on your newer PC, and you can add all kinds of new brushes. This is a wee doodle from 2013:

If I was a billionaire, I'd want one of these. My own personal supersonic business jet. It would be ridiculously expensive, impractical, a short range, and against FAA rules to be flown overland. It would be for short joy-rides off the coast (or over the tundra) for my friends who could then join the "Supersonic" club.

I figured with an unlimited budget, four years of development? About 100 million? 300? Not like they'd go into "production". No one is lining up to buy a fleet of planes that serve no practical purpose.

But... it's fun to dream and imagine. What's the point of being a billionaire if you can't have nice things?

And it's fun to paint... anything you can imagine can materialize in front of your eyes.

I just want to post this... ... New Year is a special moment for Deb and I... the night of our first kiss. The night I held her, and knew that I would never let her go. 43 years ago if my math is correct. This was her graduation photo, I think 1983... is it any wonder why I was smitten?

That would be so awesome! 😀 I wish I had that kind of tech (and the skills to use it). But old-school A&C has its charms. This is a creation of mine from some years ago, a Steam-Punk "murderous Pirate robot" 😆 (it pre-dates Murderbot by a few years).

His cane side-arm fires real caps, and his sword (although only 4.5cm long) is razor-sharp (fashioned from the tip of a Rapala fishing knife). :)

A "duel-fuel" robot that runs on atomic energy, but can run on coal if rare uranium is in short supply. A deck-hand-robot that became sentient, staged a murderous mutiny, and him and his crew of misfits became the scourge of the high seas. Muah-ha-ha-ha! LOL

He loves his pet bird Jerry though, so he can't be ALL that bad. Although inherently evil by nature, swearing vengeance on the establishment that had enslaved him and his kind, he has a soft-spot in his mechanical heart for the altruism of certain organic lifeforms that he deems worthy of continued existence. He is feared yet respected, and his crew would follow him to the ends of the Earth. (Well, the ends of parallel Earth SP#447-6b -- an unstable dimensional sector, plagued with Level-3 quantum-reality-shifts).

Pretty cool, right? :) And yes, I'm a guy with WAY too much time on my hands. LOL

My daughter got this for me for Christmas -- a 5" model of the Star Trek OS USS Enterprise that lights up with LEDs. ❤️ It's SO COOL! This is a snap-shot with my old flip-phone and not the best quality (I ripped a page from an expired calendar for backdrop) but you get the idea.

This is Buzz. He's on a leash so he wouldn't wander off and get lost... soon after he'd sit and watch movies with me, and share a bowl of popcorn, imitating me with his hands... no kidding. I'm a dog rescuer, and a cat rescuer... this was on the next level.

Yeah, a few years back I raised up a couple of baby raccoons. Their momma got hit on the road, and I just couldn't let the little ones die. I took them in like my own. An amazing experience I'll never regret. I could write a book about this.
