It's been hot & sunny this summer. So here's an old picture of my Grandma, my Aunty Beryl & Aunty Edith, all now departed, enjoying a sunny day many moons ago.
Lemmy was born in Burslem, S-O-T, just up the road from me. The organisation that looks after his legacy, IFK, have erected a great statue of him in town, opened a Motorhead bar close by for visitors & are in talks with the council to take over The Queens Theatre for concerts & music workshops 😁
Good old North Pier at Blackpool, I've been on there loads of times over the years. Here's The Bride sat close to where the phot is, about 10 years ago during a Blackpool trip for Rebellion Festival at The Winter Gardens.

From that I gather a close relative, I assume Mrs, has had a poor diagnosis. I wish her, & you, all the very best for a successful outcome. My better half has been to the brink & back, including a cancer diagnosis. Thanks to the incredible NHS is now ok. It may get dark but try to stay positive.
It's only the 3rd time in my life that we've got to a World Cup semi-final, and my little mucker gets his 1st on his 2nd birthday! Come on England, give us both our first final 🙏🙏🙏

We sent our demo out to anyone we though might be interested, and the drummer sent it to Pushead only as a real long shot, and low behold he wrote back saying he liked!!! Offered to put out an EP then maybe an LP, but that latter never came about. The sleeve rear, young me second from the right..
Back when I were a lad I was lucky enough to be on an EP released by him on his Pusmort Records label 😁
I read this recently, and my blood pressure has only just come back down. The general public either don't know or don't care how much much this institution leeches of us.
