Minor characters that became legend? Or just the ones we love/d.

Mark Lenard as Sarek (Spock's father). It's a close up of his face as if he were in the process of speaking. His brow is furrowed. His hair is short, curly and scruplously combed into submission. The ears are flat against his head and large, point. The nose is prominent, and defining.

Obviously, the original Pike is right up there. They've made a whole series about him since.

$Black Labrador x great dane. Close up on face. Dog is looking slightly upward toward camera with her big brown eyes, the whites showing underneath the brown irises; there is a reflection of light in the iris. Definitely gives her a slightly melancholy look. She has a little white dusting under her nose/upper lip and you can see a fraction of her white chest. But otherwise, she is a pure black. Her fur has that lovely soft brushed look and I can confirm that when you run your hand along it, the fur feels smooth, soft and silky.$

Marley, the tan and white beaglier has his tongue out. Beneath him are some little ragdoll kittens still in their almost totally white stage (super cute and fluffy) and is intent on grooming them. All are lying on a soft pink patterned doona cover.

Bubbles is being very demanding about getting some attention today.

Black and white cat, very thin, stands on a burgundy chair leaning toward the person holding the phone (me!). Her whiskers are very long and white and stand out from her eyebrowns as well as her muzzle/nose. The eyes are a pale green. Her little white toe socks rest at the front of the chair, right near the hole she has clawed into its fabric (over many days, not just today). Her tail is standing straight up. She looks like a miniature panther at this angle.

This is Cirilla, my ragdoll. This is also her unimpressed face. She has taken possession of the pile of clothes I left heaped, clearly as a bed just for her, and feels that my bothering her for a photograph is an imposition. Either that, or she looked at the world and had... feelings.

A beautiful ragdoll cat sits atop a pile of clothes. Her brow is drawn down and her very blue eyes are half closed. The light forms a rippled 'v' shape on her brow. She looks straight at camera from half closed lids, with her mouth drawn down as if about to say 'tut, tut'. The pile of clothes does not matter at all, but includes a fuschia and silver jacket (which she is lying on), and a fluffy dressing gown. Behind her is a view onto a green lawn and some rocks, enclosed by a red brick wall.

This is Cotton. She is a maremma living in an urban setting (not so ideal) but she is the Guardian for daughter the second, who is her entire flock (and world). Cotton blew an ACL which cost many monies to repair, but she is worth it. She once dressed as Appa for Halloween (Last Airbender).

A fluffy white dog (maremma) with soulful brown eyes and a big, wet black nose, looks up at the camera. She is standing on cracked cemeent which is not nearly so white as she is. Her eyes look like they have been painted with thick black eyeliner. Her fur is soft and fluffy looking.

This is Marley, my beaglier. He is spoiled and adored. His job in life is to follow me around... like a dog... and to sleep on my unmade bed, and keep my feet warm in the morning by resting on them while I type things on bluesky. RIght now, he is snoring, blissfully ignorant of genocidal presidents.

A tan and white beaglier (*three quarters cavalier king charles spaniel and one quarter beagle) sniffs the grass and ground cover near a red brick wall. His tail is a blur because he is, as always, wagging it.

This is Bubbles. You cannot tell in this photograph, but she is a tuxedo cat. She was named by my youngest, and I insist that this is in reference to the Powerpuff Girls.

A black and white cat sits on top of a bright red squishmallow octopus which seems many times her size. She is curled in a neat circle on top of the circular squishmallow octopus head. She looks straight at camera and the flash has made her eyes super green. The squishmallow has big black cartoon eyes and is looking slightly to the side of the camera.

This is Baby Bonnie (labrador x great dane). She is my son's best friend, and super adorable, people pleasing, and so very, very good at cadging love with the sad 'puppy' eyes.
