6/7 🏆In the category of Heritage Champions, Din l-Art Ħelwa – The National Trust for Malta, a volunteer-driven organisation that has protected the country’s cultural and natural heritage since 1965 through restoration, advocacy and public engagement.
5/7 📚In the category of Education, Training and Skills, the Irish Office of Public Works for improving the Energy Performance of Heritage Properties in State Care Initiative.
4/7 🔎 In the category of Research, the Cypriot Fiddler research project which documents the life stories of traditional Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot musicians, preserving oral storytelling, local dialects and a shared musical heritage.
3/7 🏛️In the category of Conservation and Adaptive Reuse, the long-term restoration of the Polirone Monastic Complex of San Benedetto Po reactivated with new cultural and civic functions after earthquake damage.
2/7 🎉 Public Choice Award, the restoration project of Bánffy Castle, Răscruci, which has allowed the castle and park to reopen to local residents, visitors and specialists, with public events and educational activities taking place on site.
