I get annoyed when people transpose their modern concept of "Europe" or "West" onto classic or archaic Greek society because the known, familiar world to them was shifted noticeably east and south of there. Parts of Asia and Africa belonged to it but England did not.

Tell a story, not a conclusion

This one is simple–don’t say “this person is a stalker”. Instead, say “this person kept creating accounts after I blocked him and later showed up on my doorstep”.

Examples of specific and escalatory behavior are often more persuasive than labels. Labels lack context and force staff to do more work to reinterpret your conclusion rather than evaluate and verify behavior.

Where there is Chinese money-capital, there are Chinese arms and armies; Russian money-capital, Russian arms and armies; American, American. This may or may not entail the formation of a fully organized colonial regime; it is often cheaper and more efficient to engage in semi-colonialism, ruling through the proxies of local bureaucrat bourgeoisie who will partner with the international monopoly bourgeoisie and sell off their country to them. Either way, the big imperialist monopoly bourgeoisie exercise colonial state power over their slice of the colonized world.
But the “special bodies of armed men” (Lenin following Engels) which form the basic physical arm through which the state-power is enacted to repress subordinated class interests must, themselves, be incentivized. The imperialist state cannot offer a portfolio of shares in Haliburton or a stake in a mining future to every armed man they mobilize to the colonial frontier to secure the profitability of those very financial instruments. But it can buy the participation of ordinary men, not of a class with the real interests standing to profit, in this project, which only very secondarily benefits them, by offering them property upon which to exercise their will as subjects of domination and exploitation in its most rudimentary form– the bodies of conquered women.

I derive the name from Joseph Scott Pemberton, the U.S. Marine who admittedly murdered and defiled a transgender woman, Jennifer Laude, whom he had previously had sex with while performing his duties as a war dog of empire in the Philippines, at the cornerstone imperialist outpost of Subic Bay, in 2014. He claimed his actions were justified by the violation he felt at realizing his victim was transgender. The said actions were pardoned, thereby tacitly endorsed as acceptable, by the Philippine fascist bureaucrat-capitalist regime and, by extension, by the US military and capitalist interests that puppeteer it. amnesty must be enjoyed by those rapists and murderers who are simply never caught. Rapes by US military personnel in the vicinity of Subic have proliferated both before and after the Laude case. The VFA, the agreement between the US and its Philippine puppet state concerning US military presence, ensures US military personnel are never under full sovereign Philippine jurisdiction for crimes they are accused of on Philippine soil.

I am not interested in the pseudo-Marxist question of how class struggle stands in relation to “identity issues,” because so much of what has been written off as “identity politics,” in a usage having nothing to do with and no understanding of the term’s origins or its meaning to its originators, is precisely class struggle. Strife within a community and social system over differing and contradicting relations to the means of productive human life-activity is class struggle; even if the groups contesting have been shaped in their constitution by such ideological constructions as gender-sex, race, and nationality, they remain fundamentally determined by their role in this struggle and its transformation over time. The Marxist conception of class struggle, and most importantly (see Lenin) its resolution in transformation of the relations of production and all social relations, is not a dogmatic formula to be applied by ignoring and shaving off the complexities and many-layered idiosyncrasies of the reality of that struggle, but a picture of the whole social reality.

im thinking about the interesting political implications of inbred as an insult
because i saw it being used a couple times on social media today regarding fascists rallying in DC
this term connotes, in various contexts, both extreme ends of a society's hierarchy of wealth and class power
the ultra-isolated rural poor, the attenuated and mutated ruling class of degenerating late feudalism
in the us i think people usually mean the former
it's sort of a way of saying "hick" that is simultaneously euphemistic, disguising the disdain for assumed poverty behind the insult, and crass, covering it over with an implication of degeneracy as result of and synecdoche for that poverty (and lack of worldly-wisdom, etc)

in actual fact of course the marching membership of Patriot Front, like that of most white fascist movements in imperialist core countries, is almost certainly mostly upper-middle of the hierarchy, resolutely petit bourgeois and interested in rising together with the fascist section of the haute bourgeoisie
so calling them inbred is an error of class analysis, probably

it strikes me that the thing people regard as bad about being inbred is usually some form of disability
so is it not just "disabled" as an insult
disabled in a way that implies a yucky sexual act, but not one the person you're insulting is actually responsible for
