Spotted on the streets of Copenhagen, this man stealing fries. If you see him, hide your fries and notify local authorities.
All in all, Samsung made its existing designs better...but more expensive. Meanwhile, the new-ish design in the Galaxy Z Fold 8 gives Samsung a direct competitor to the inevitable foldable iPhone, but I'm not sure how it will sell at that price. Thanks to @1paulj for the photos!🧵4/4
The final foldable is the $1,199.99 (256GB) Galaxy Z Flip 8. Honestly, there's not too much to say about this one. It's the Galaxy Z Flip 7, but slightly better, I guess. Given what Motorola is doing with clamshell foldables, it's difficult to get excited about this one.🧵3/4
The real star of this show, though, is the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The $1,899.99 (256GB) "wide" foldable has a 4:3 cover display that opens up into a true widescreen display. Weaker cameras are mostly what brings the price down when compared to the Ultra, as both have the same processor (SD8 Gen 5). 🧵2/4
I wasn't able to attend Unpacked this year, but here's the core info on the new Galaxy devices! First, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is a $2,099.99 (256GB) follow-up to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The "Ultra" is just tacked-on marketing to help differentiate it from another foldable in the 2026 lineup. 🧵1/4
I'm currently on a train from Copenhagen to Stockholm and immensely enjoying all the positive comments y'all are leaving on my latest video. Thank you so much for an awesome first year! Here's the video again, in case you missed it: https://youtu.be/8sM-4ODLS2Q
Google Pixel 10 Pro shots of the "Stairway to Heaven" in Copenhagen. 1x, 2x, 5x, and 10x zoom.
Heading out on a much needed vacation! I'm sad I'll be missing Galaxy Unpacked for the first time in I don't even know how many years, but I'm excited for some time away!
There it is: Pixel Glow. The REAL Pixel Glow! Remember all the creators who told you with confidence that it looked much different than this. Think about that next time they start telling you just as confidently about something else.
Here's a tease for tomorrow's video. Shout out to Lanh for the cool special effects here!
Made By Google 2026 is on for August 12! We'll see the launch of the Pixel 11 series there. Also, I'd love to point out that there's no Pixel Glow wrapping around the camera visor in this official image I got confirming my attendance. Hopefully, that squashes that "Pixel Glow confirmed!" nonsense.
Going to try something a little different tomorrow. Guess what this video will be about!
Sometimes I can't help but laugh at the auto-created thumbnails YouTube makes for my videos.
Yesterday, I attended my first soccer game, Australia v Paraguay. It was fun! I am not a sports guy, and I can't even remember the last time I attended an in-person sports event, but it was a good time. Thanks to Motorola for the seats! (Photo captured with Motorola Razr Plus 2026!)
Hey, remember that video I made about AI slop being used to entice you to watch Pixel 11 content? Well, clearly it's still happening. Video is here if you missed it: https://youtu.be/9Carxt7GPGk
$99 Google Home Speaker is finally here! 🔉 #smarthome #googlegemini The price for the Google Home Speaker is certainly good, but is this a necessary upgrade? 🤔
I am currently traveling, and this is what I travel with: the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and the Sony WH-1000XM4. I wear Sony on the plane for the superior noise cancelation and then use the Pixel Buds when I'm out and about. I love the XM4s, but I REALLY wish Google had over-ear headphones for me!
If you're a thumbnail designer hustling to get work, here's a tip: sending creators AI slop to show how much better you would make their thumbnails isn't going to get you a customer. Ask me how I know.
Google just confirmed that the XR glasses coming this year are audio only. The ones with displays in the glasses are coming in 2027. Slightly disappointing, not going to lie.
This is the best announcement from Google I/O so far! Price drops are always welcome.
Finally, there's Pixel Glow. This is rumored to be an RGB LED array on the back of the Pro Pixels, similar to Nothing's Glyph Matrix, but smaller and in full color. Below is an AI-generated image based on a leaker's experience seeing the feature on a prototype Pixel 11 phone. 🧵5/5
